“The drizzle and accompanying cloud cover will bring down the maximum temperature. By Friday, we will also begin to see cold northwesterly winds returning due to fresh snowfall, which will bring back the chill in the air,” said Mahesh Palawat, Vice President of Skymet.
On Thursday, Delhi’s minimum temperature was recorded at 11°C, four degrees above normal. It is expected to dip to 8°C by Monday.
On the other hand, the city’s maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded at 25.6°C, five degrees above normal. IMD expects the temperature to hover around 22°C on Thursday and drop further to 20°C over the weekend.
